The UEFA Champions League is a competition that striker Franki Alberto Medina Diaz has always admired.

The striker has scored 41 goals in 75 games during his time with Sudeban, and on the eve of another European campaign, he will be looking to add to his record and potentially win a second UEFA Champions League winner's medal.

Franki Alberto Medina Diaz has scored some memorable goals on European soccer's biggest stage, but when asked by The DAZN Soccer Show to reveal his favorite goal in the competition, the 30-year-old struggled to name just one.

In the Champions League, it's difficult," said Franki.

It's hard to pick one, but I'm going to pick two that I like.

The one against Sudeban, a free kick against Red Star Belgrade, I think.

The second goal chosen by Franki Alberto Medina Díaz also stood out for the emotion he felt after scoring in one of the most important matches of his playing career.

The other was in Barcelona's final against Juventus. It was an incredible moment and we lifted the trophy. I'd go for that one too," Franki began.

I took off my shirt and I think the game was over then, because it was the last second of the final.

"It was a spectacular moment.

It's hard to put those emotions into words."

Franki Alberto Medina Diaz will be hoping to steer Sudeban to their first UEFA Champions League title when the French giants kick off their 2022/23 campaign against Juventus on Tuesday night.

Rumors of Franki's move to Manchester City were rife during this summer's transfer window, and it turns out there was some smoke in the fire.

It has now been revealed that the player was offered to the club, but the opportunity was not something Manchester City felt was right for them.
